Littleton Dance Academy's Youth Ballet Companies

We have three performing companies at Littleton Dance Academy. Being a part of a performing company gives a student the opportunity to gain additional rehearsal and performance experience which will help their technical and artistic development. During the year the students will have rehearsals once a week to learn and work on choreography. These pieces will be performed at the Annual School Performance. In addition, dancers will also be given the opportunity to perform at schools, assisted living homes, festivals, hospitals, and other charitable events throughout the year giving them invaluable performing experience and teaching them the value of community service. Students must audition annually. There will be a $5 fee to audition. There is no monthly charge to participate in any performing company; however, there is a one time fee of $75 to offset costume expenses. All students are encouraged to take part in this wonderful opportunity!

Littleton Dance Academy Youth Ballet Company is open to students in Ballet VI. Students in the Company must take three ballet classes a week (recommended five times a week) and one class in an additional dance form. Auditions will be on Saturday, September 20th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. with a meeting for all parents and students immediately following the audition. Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 beginning September 23rd.

Littleton Dance Academy Youth Ensemble is open to students in Ballet IV and V. Students must take two ballet classes a week (recommended three to four times a week) and study one class in an additional dance form. Auditions will be on Saturday, September 20th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. with a meeting for all parents and students immediately following the audition. Rehearsals will take place on Fridays from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. beginning September 26th.

Littleton Dance Academy Junior Ensemble is new this year and is open to students in Ballet III and Ballet IV. Students are required to take two ballet classes a week and are encouraged to study one additional form of dance. Auditions will take place on Saturday, January 10^th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. with a meeting for all parents and students immediately following the audition from 3:00 to 3:15. Rehearsals will be on Saturdays from 1:30 to 2:30 beginning January 17^th.
