Performing Companies
We have three performing companies at Littleton Dance Academy. Being a part of a performing company gives a student the opportunity to gain additional rehearsal and performance experience which will help their technical and artistic development. During the year the students will have rehearsals once a week to learn and work on choreography. These pieces will be performed in The Nutcracker, Storybook Ballet, and the Annual School Performance. In addition, dancers will also be given the opportunity to perform at schools, assisted living homes, festivals, hospitals, and other charitable events throughout the year giving them invaluable performing experience and teaching them the value of community service. Students must audition annually. There will be a $5 audition fee to cover the expense of the guest teachers and judges we bring in. There is no monthly charge to participate in any performing company. All students are encouraged to take part in this wonderful opportunity

Littleton Youth Ballet Ensemble is open to students in Ballet IVB and VA. Students must take three ballet classes a week (recommended four to five times a week) and one class per week in an additional dance form. Auditions will be on Saturday, September 12th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. with a meeting for all parents and students immediately following the audition. Rehearsals will take place on Fridays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. beginning September 18th.

Littleton Dance Academy Junior Ensemble is open to students in Ballet III and IVA. Students are required to take two ballet classes a week and are encouraged to study one additional form of dance. Auditions will take place on Saturday, September 12th from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. with a meeting for all parents and students immediately following the audition from 1:30 to 1:45 p.m. Rehearsals will be on Fridays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. beginning April 9th; the rest of the time they will have Saturday rehearsals for The Nutcracker or Storybook Ballet.
