Pre-Ballet Division
Our pre-ballet program teaches rhythm, coordination, and musicality, as well as early ballet and tap steps and classroom etiquette.

Pre-Ballet with Tap (ages 3-4)

Monday 3:15 to 4:00 AJ

Pre-Ballet with Tap (ages 5-6)

Children’s Ballet Division
This division is important because it lays the foundation of classical ballet. Ballet teaches grace, coordination, strength, flexibility, musicality, balance, and is the backbone of all dance forms. Classes are taught by co-directors Bobbie and Alison Jaramillo

Ballet I (Once a week)

Ballet II (1-2 times a week)

Pre-Professional Division
Our Pre-Professional Division is designed to give aspiring students the highest quality training focusing on clean technique, pointe work, and developing artistry. Lorita Travaglia and Debra Mercer join Bobbie and Alison Jaramillo as teachers of both Ballet V and VI.

Conditioning for Dancers

Taught by former Broadway dancer Bobbie Jaramillo, these classes teach proper technique with an emphasis on clean sounds and musicality.

Jazz
Taught by Adrianne Hampton, these classes include a broad spectrum of New York style jazz from funk to Fosse.

Hip Hop
Taught by Larry Southall, these classes teach hip hop technique, incorporating locking, popping, and breaking in exciting combinations.

Adult Division
This unique program is directed at teaching adults to dance to the best of their abilities, get in an enjoyable workout, and have a wonderful time.

LDA Youth Ensemble Rehearsal
The Youth Ensemble is open to students in Ballet III and higher. Students must audition annually and take at least two ballet classes per week to be accepted into the program.
