“Just know how honored we
are that our Alyssa will be in this production under your direction. You
(Alison) and your mom (Bobbie) are truly amazing. Thank you again for all of
the extra time that you have given Alyssa. She loves you both.”
Diane Palazzo, mother Alyssa Ballet II
“As a family we have "sat
through" many a novice performances of the Nutcracker (and a few who claim to be
professional!!) and never enjoyed one more than tonight. The big and little
girl's performances all used their talents and charm to their potential and
created a wonderful camaraderie that is hard to duplicate. I can not tell you
how much all of us enjoyed the evening!!! Please congratulate
yourselves on a wonderful accomplishment for a very entertaining evening! The
crowd was thrilled!!"

"After
moving to Colorado for graduate school, I began searching for a local dance
studio and found LDA through their website. From the moment I stepped into my
first adult ballet class at Littleton Dance Academy, I knew I had found
something very special. Everyone was so kind. Ali immediately made me
feel welcome, and the class was the perfect balance of review and challenge. I
feel truly blessed to be involved in this very special place where aspiring
dancers receive as excellent of training as adult students like myself. I would
highly recommend LDA to anyone - child or adult - who is interested in starting
from scratch or continuing in their dance training. The staff are as kind as
they are talented. And I can confidently say that I have never been as good a
dancer as I am today thanks to LDA."
Meggan Knox, Adult
Ballet Student
“Our
family has been involved with three different dance studios for our three
daughters. LDA is our studio of choice because of the warm, nurturing climate
Ali, Bobbie and all of the teachers create there. Our daughters have felt loved
and accepted by the teachers and the other dancers, as well. There is a spirit
of cooperation and positive peer pressure at LDA. We have not experienced
dancer against dancer kind of competition there. The other dancers seemed
strengthened by the association not crippled with fear of not measuring up to
the others. LDA instructors see our dancers as individuals as well as
ensembles. Our 12 year old daughter has danced with LDA for 2 years and is sad
when there is a break or she is too ill to attend dance. She literally looks
forward to any day that she gets to dance there. She is happy that she has 3
days a week she gets to have classes! We consider LDA a true blessing in the
lives of our daughters and will forever be grateful that we had a chance to
dance there. Truly!”

Dear Bobbie
and Alison,
The
reason for this letter is to convey my sincere appreciation for all the time,
effort, and love you have poured into my children over the years. I’m
astonished to report that Sam danced with you for over 10 years and Angelica has
been with you for over five!
Even
though I’ve watched you teach for so long, I continue to marvel at your ability
to balance excellent instruction in the technical aspects of dance with such
obvious care and concern for each student. You strive to turn out great dancers
who are also good people, and that is very important to me as a parent. Your
school is open to all those who want to dance and I have seen your skillful and
insightful teaching help students surmount some formidable challenges to become
beautiful dancers.
My
children have benefited immeasurably from the kind encouragement that you
combine with rigorous expectations during their lessons. Sam and Angelica feel
supported by the family atmosphere that you promote amongst your students and
their families. The friendships that have taken root and grown at your school
are many.
I feel
so fortunate to have been associated with such down-to-earth, professional,
inspirational instructors and mentors I know your school is on its way to
becoming a huge success. It’s been a privilege to watch it all happen. You
deserve the best!
Love,
Barb
